5. Where Does The Good Go // Tegan and Sara (Top Ten)
So Jealous is my ultimate Tegan and Sara album. Tegan’s songs are pop monster hits - every single one is catchy and had the potential to be big, with the right marketing. Sara really hit her groove on this album, with each song being consistent and relatable. I think that this is when they really developed their signature sound. This is the album that got them noticed - even though WWAG is my least favourite song on the album - and this is the album that makes me feel sentimental. There’s a reason why Tegan still plays most of these songs live.
Anyone who knows me knows that Where Does The Good Go is my number one song and that I have 13 versions of it on my iTunes. Real happy and healthy, strong and calm. This song is so simple but it is so much more than that. Ugh. I can’t even.
this playlist makes me think of him, of her, of you, of us, of what was, of what is, of what could be, of what could have been, of everyone i love, of those i’ve loved, of those early mornings and those late nights. mostly acoustic, some electric, entirely nostalgic. click picture or title for download. you can find my other playlists here.
